Balance has a different rhythm at JOALI BEING. The day might start with an invigorating beach workout, continue over a long lunch by the sea, and unfold into an afternoon of Watsu or sound therapy. Later, there might be music, dancing, laughter or simply time spent outdoors as the light changes across the lagoon and stars appear in the sky.
At our well-living island, the goal isn’t a fixed equilibrium. Rather, balance is continually created through movement, nourishment, restoration, sound and connection with the natural world. Through this philosophy of joyful wellbeing, guests discover a state of alignment that feels both personal and timeless.
Woven around the Four Pillars: Mind, Skin, Microbiome and Energy, our experiences are designed to support each other in service of overall wellbeing – instead of targeting isolated health goals.
Offering a way to reconnect with the body, movement finds a natural momentum at JOALI BEING. Our resident specialists lead classes in yoga, Pilates, HIIT, Muay Thai, Zumba and Padel, alongside inspiring experiences like DJ-led workouts – a reminder that fitness can be fun and social. The island also invites gentler, more spontaneous moments: step into the water, walk along the shoreline or dance under starry skies.
Movement build energy – and water gives it a place to land. KAASHI, our hydrotherapy hall, hosts experiences that move between water, heat and touch. Watsu rituals combine gentle stretching, acupressure and massage to guide guests into a feeling of weightlessness, while our Banya, Hammam and Aufguss Sauna each offer a different pathway to restoration, from age-old cleansing traditions to multisensory immersions.
Food is another part of the rhythm, creating balance from within. Shaped by sustainably sourced ingredients, our Earth-to-Table cuisine celebrates the joy of nourishment. At FLOW, our main restaurant, three kitchens offer different perspectives: SU crafts pescatarian cuisine, Plantae explores vegan and vegetarian possibilities, and B’Well focuses on meat and poultry. Each meal enhances the pleasure of being on holiday – eating well, discovering new flavours and lingering a little longer around the table.
Some recalibrations are more subtle. SEDA, our sound therapy hall, uses music and vibration to quiet mental chatter, making space for peace and awareness. Outside, the Discovery Sound Path winds through the island’s native forest, with nine unique instruments inviting you to follow your curiosity and explore the magic of sound and vibration.
Nature isn’t a backdrop at JOALI BEING; it’s an integral part of how our resort is experienced. Biophilic principles guide the design of our villas, wellbeing spaces and dining areas, creating an effortless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. Across our island, the journey shifts naturally from sunlight to shade, from lush greenery to elegant interiors, from private hideaways to open horizons.
The Four Pillars offer a beautifully balanced approach to well-living. The Mind considers how we manage stress and relate to others; Skin nurtures confidence and radiance; Microbiome focuses on the gut and its role in overall wellbeing; and Energy sustains vitality through movement. Rather than relying on a rigid formula, we use all Four Pillars to design personalised journeys that support balance, lightness and joy.
The deepest sense of renewal often arrives unexpectedly: after swimming in the sunlit lagoon, sharing a nourishing meal, dancing to hypnotic beats or simply daydreaming under the open sky. Well-living doesn’t ask to stand still – it asks us to move, to grow and to keep on becoming.
At JOALI BEING, balance is shaped by ancient wisdom, modern science and the ever-present gifts of nature. Guests leave our island with their rhythm renewed, carrying fresh energy and momentum back into their daily life.
