This summer, JOALI Maldives, the first and only art-immersive resort in the Maldives, invites families to embark on an extraordinary journey of creativity, adventure and meaningful connection with the launch of Summer Camp 2026. Running from 1 July to 31 August 2026, the immersive seasonal programme transforms the Island of Joy into a vibrant hub of artistic expression, cultural discovery and unforgettable family experiences.
Inspired by JOALI Maldives' Joy of Creative Living philosophy, Summer Camp 2026 has been thoughtfully curated for guests of all ages. Throughout the season, internationally acclaimed artists, celebrated athletes and culinary talents will host exclusive residencies alongside an exciting calendar of workshops, sporting activities and island adventures, encouraging families to create, learn and explore together.

Creative Residencies
A remarkable line-up of internationally recognised artists, athletes and creative visionaries will take residence on the island throughout the summer, offering exclusive workshops, demonstrations and immersive experiences.
Aurélie Hoegy
Contemporary Artist & Designer | Residency: 16 – 21 July 2026
Renowned French multidisciplinary artist Aurélie Hoegy, creator of the iconic JOALI Hammock, returns this summer to unveil a new artwork inspired by the island's natural beauty. Alongside the installation, guests are invited to discover her creative practice through immersive tapestry weaving workshops that celebrate craftsmanship, texture and the organic forms found in nature.
Laima Laurina
Ceramic Artist & Sculptor | Residency: 30 July – 2 August 2026
Celebrated Latvian ceramic artist Laima Laurina introduces guests to the delicate art of handcrafted porcelain through her Porcelain Studio, inviting participants to explore craftsmanship, creativity and the beauty of natural materials.
Hidhana Latheef
Heritage Artist & Designer | Residency: 7 – 10 August 2026
Dedicated to preserving the traditional Maldivian weaving technique of Kasabu Viyun, Hidhana will host complimentary heritage craft workshops, offering guests the opportunity to discover one of the Maldives' most treasured cultural traditions.
Nicola Adams OBE
Olympic Gold Medallist Boxer | Residency: 17 – 19 August 2026
One of Britain's most celebrated athletes, Nicola Adams OBE will lead Train Like a Champion, a family fitness and boxing-inspired workshop, alongside Elite Fitness Sessions, inspiring confidence, resilience and joyful movement.

Master Chocolatier & Pastry Chef | Residency: 22 – 26 August 2026
Internationally acclaimed chocolatier Melissa Coppel invites younger guests into the world of chocolate through interactive Chocolate Ateliers, where artistry and pâtisserie come together.
Raya Mansoor
Contemporary Artist | Residency: 23 – 29 August 2026
One of the Maldives' leading contemporary artists and a Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2026 honouree, Raya Mansoor will create a new large-scale artwork during her residency while welcoming guests to an exclusive Artist Showcase & Exhibition, offering a rare insight into her creative process.
Muramas Kids Club
Throughout the summer, Muramas Kids Club will offer an exciting programme of complimentary daily activities designed especially for young explorers aged 4 to 12 years.
Highlights include Laser Tag, Little Chefs, DIY Mosaic Art, Polaroid Photography Workshops, Tie-Dye Sessions, Basket Weaving, Puppet Workshops, Eco Heroes: Trash to Treasure, Boduberu Workshops, Glow Games, Stargazing, Balloon Art, Pool Battles, Beach Spike Ball, Outdoor Badminton, Tennis Clinics and Junior Archery, ensuring every day brings a new adventure filled with creativity, learning and fun.
