Glithero is the creative partnership of British designer Tim Simpson and Dutch designer Sarah van Gameren, who met while studying at the Royal College of Art. From their studio in London, they create unique and wonderful objects and installations that are the result of meticulous experimentation and material invention.
The work bridges the fields of art, design and craft, but follows a consistent conceptual path: to capture and present the beauty in the moment things are made. Committed to designing ‘systems’ that animate and extend the making process, Glithero’s approach is informed by notions of time, curiosity and attention to detail.
