Josh Gluckstein is a London-based wildlife artist whose practice places sustainability at its core. Since 2021, he has worked exclusively with recycled cardboard to create extraordinary life-size animal sculptures that capture the emotion, presence, and raw beauty of the natural world.
Cardboard, with its countless tones, textures, and layers, offers Gluckstein the perfect medium to render fine details and expressive forms. Each work demonstrates how the overlooked and discarded can be transformed into something meaningful, blending artistry with environmental responsibility.
Inspired by extensive travels and volunteer work across Asia, East Africa, and South America, Gluckstein seeks to reflect both the vitality and vulnerability of the species he has encountered in the wild.
