Embark on a maze-like journey into the brain, through thoughts rendered by illustration. Using the magic of virtual reality, this exploration takes place in a brain box with neurones and synapses for an intimate, fierce and unique encounter. Each person can experience their own psychological journey, with several unfolding narratives, soundscapes and trajectories.
Inspired by JOALI, Susplugas has added specific Maldivian elements to transport spectators to an enchanted world filled with joy, wellness, beauty and nature. It is impossible to emerge from this realm indifferent and unchanged!
The visionary work of Jeanne Susplugas offers a reflection, not devoid of humour and even cynicism, on the ills of modern society. She holds a degree in Art History from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and has had exhibitions all over the world. Her works have been shown in places such as the K W in Berlin, the Villa Medicis in Rome, and the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
