JOALI BEING ANNOUNCES MULTI-GENERATIONAL LEARNING EXPERIENCES WITH THE B’KIDULT SUMMER PROGRAMME 2025

This Summer, JOALI BEING invites multi-generational travellers to embark on a shared journey of discovery, learning and joy.

JOALI BEING, the first wellbeing destination of its kind in the Maldives, is delighted to announce an exciting line-up of multi-generational experiences focused on holistic wellbeing as part of its annual B’Kidult Summer Programme. Inspired by JOALI BEING’s Four Pillars — Mind, Microbiome, Skin, and Energy — the summer offerings invite families to embark on a shared journey of discovery, learning, connection, and joy. From 1st July to 31st August 2025, the wellbeing island’s unique B’Kidult playground encourages guests of all ages to “learn through play”, while fostering environmental stewardship and a deeper connection with nature.

Designed to inspire, these programmes invite guests to spark their creativity, engage with ocean sustainability, and explore diverse forms of fitness, from padel tennis and Muay Thai to yoga and meditation. In addition to the Summer Programme, guests may further personalise their journey with a selection of “à la carte” experiences from the weekly B’Kidult schedule. These include a variety of wellbeing workshops and learning sessions, such as creating natural self-care products with resident herbalists, culinary masterclasses, plant pioneer activities focused on sustainability, discussions with marine biologists, Young Yogi or Kids’ Qi Gong classes, sound healing sessions, and more.

Focusing on the vital importance of early-stage learning and wellbeing, B’Kidult offers a curated collection of activities designed to inspire young hearts and minds. Committed to introducing JOALI BEING’s journey towards “weightlessness”, experiences for all ages are thoughtfully centred around the Four Pillars of wellbeing — Mind, Microbiome, Skin, and Energy. Embracing nature throughout every space and activity, B’Kidult features sensory playgrounds, mud kitchens, a fully equipped kitchen for aspiring young chefs, and a range of wellbeing workshops aimed at fostering health, imparting new skills, and strengthening family bonds.

Highlights from this year’s summer programme include:

  • Padel Champs: JOALI BEING invites guests to step onto the court for exclusive training sessions from 13th to 15th August 2025 with two of the sport’s most renowned names: Mari Carmen Villalba Sánchez, two-time European champion and former professional player, who achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 6 in doubles, and Jorge de Benito Fraile, current coach of professional players at the renowned M3 Academy. Designed for aspiring players, the programme features three one-hour coaching sessions across three days, focusing on technique, strategy, movement, and competition skills. Private lessons (one-hour sessions) are also available for groups of 2–4 players.

  • Ace Academy: Set your child on the right path with a dynamic introduction to tennis. In a fun and supportive environment, young players develop essential life skills, build confidence, and foster a love for the game. Alongside improving speed and agility, lessons encourage resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Children learn to command the court with confidence — and proudly share their progress with the whole family.
  • Eco Harmony: With sustainability at its core, young guests are invited to forge a closer bond with the natural world. Through hands-on activities such as turtle research, participants discover the wonders of nature, blending science, creativity, and passion on an empowering journey for future eco-warriors.

  • Fitness Academy: Young guests are invited to explore a diverse range of movement and mindfulness activities, including dynamic circuits, Pilates, yoga, and meditation. Designed to foster physical confidence, flexibility, and inner calm, these sessions take place in a fun, supportive environment that encourages holistic wellbeing.
  • Football Camp: Budding players can step onto the pitch for a dynamic experience filled with football, fun, and teamwork. Through engaging drills and friendly matches, young participants will develop key skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting. The camp culminates in a lively Grand Finale, featuring a family tournament and an awards ceremony to celebrate achievement and connection across generations.

  • Flavoursome Foodies: Aspiring chefs can roll up their sleeves in hands-on baking and cooking classes at B’Kidult. From mastering chocolate tempering and crafting delicate bonbons to rolling traditional tortillas and preparing vibrant Mexican salsas, each chef-led session promises a delicious blend of learning, creativity, and joyful kitchen memories.
  • Muay Thai: In a safe and supportive setting, young guests can unleash their inner warrior with Muay Thai. Participants will build self-confidence while developing stance, striking skills, and defensive techniques. Combining power with precision, Muay Thai also enhances mobility, agility, and strength, offering an empowering foundation for martial arts enthusiasts.

  • Ocean Odyssey Mission: Guided by JOALI BEING’s resident marine biologist, young explorers will embark on an inspiring journey beneath the waves. Participants will learn about fascinating marine life, contribute to scientific data collection on corals, fish, and manta rays, and discover everyday practices to protect our oceans, from sustainable fishing to creative recycling initiatives.

The Summer Programme coincides with the year-round B’Kidult calendar of activities and are complimentary for guests of JOALI BEING.
